Business Development Manager

Are you looking for an exciting new Business Development role in publishing? Do you wish you had more opportunity to develop business outside of the traditional sales channels? Our client, a highly reputable business publisher in Central London, is looking for a talented Business Development Manager to drive growth with both corporate and institutional sales channels globally.

You will also be developing print and digital sales and fostering relationships with traditional and non-traditional channels to promote these. Internally, you will be liaising with the marketing and publishing teams to identify new opportunities for growth in sales and generate ideas about other channels through which you can promote the products. This is therefore a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to an already highly successful product portfolio.

The successful candidate will be comfortable developing and maintaining relationships with institutions, corporations, libraries and specialist retailers. You will have a proven track record of success of business development and sales in a publishing environment and have evidence of thinking outside the box, optimising sales in both traditional and non-traditional sales channels. You will be capable at analysing sales data and be looking for an exciting new challenge!
