We currently have an exciting new position for a driven, tenacious and ambitious Business Development Manager to take on an exciting sales opportunity, within a leading global business intelligence publisher, based in London.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Develop and sell new and existing marketing solutions to corporate accounts in Pharma and Medtech sector, delivering sponsorship, content marketing and advertising revenue growth
- Deliver market leading sales and service as part of the current account team.
- Convince existing customers to invest in new and innovative ways of engaging high value subscription audiences
- To effectively use our analytics tools to sell content marketing packages to existing and new accounts
- Work closely with the existing sales teams and editorial teams to complement and grow the business with new revenue streams
- Where required to help maximise revenue from existing product opportunities
The Ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Experience developing new revenue streams through a variety of marketing solutions
- Experience selling new business opportunities to B2B advertising accounts
- Experience selling B2B advertising and sponsorship solutions
- Experience selling the benefits of a subscription audience
- Relevant sales training (ideally traditional sales techniques)
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders
- Strong influencing skills
- A drive to succeed in new business sales is a necessity above all else
