A leading, global education and solutions publishing company is looking to appoint a UK based Business Development Manager to join its Global public sector team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development professional who can demonstrate solid experience of the publishing or related business experience field and is familiar with Middle East business practice. Arabic language skills are desirable but not essential. This role can be worked remotely.
Overseeing and managing the global pipeline you will support regional teams in negotiating contracts and delivering custom teaching and learning solutions.
• Define and communicate strategic regional business development objectives, in partnership with Senior Director
• Drive business development pipeline, engaging regularly with regional sales colleagues
• Track and report proactively on B2G revenue and profitability
• Manage proposal development and tender submission process
You will have demonstrable experience of managing external suppliers and freelancers and will also have first class written and verbal communication skills. A pro-active problem-solver, you will have excellent experience of publishing processes and strong organisational, time management and planning skills.
