Business Growth Specialist
Our client is the leading consultancy for university admission support and guidance. As part of their rapidly growing business, they are looking for someone to join them to oversee the book publishing arm for the business, overseeing growth, maximising sales opportunities and coordinating the development and production of new titles. This is a really interesting and varied role and would suit someone with strong business development and marketing skills and a good overview of the book publishing process. This role is a home based position with one day a week in their office in Milton Keynes.
Key duties:
- Project manage the lifecycle of new book titles from concept to completion
- Manage tutors, graphics designers, proofreaders and all relevant outsourced workers to launch book titles successfully
- Ensure metadata and keywords for titles are accurate and optimized to reach the widest audience
- Manage reviews, requesting and monitoring online reviews to ensure they are accurate and reflect the quality of the products
- Drive sales and growth of new and existing titles
- Act as main point of contact for all book related matters
Experience / skills required:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Highly motivated to grow a business
- Data and target driven and results oriented
- Ability to work independently, prioritising conflicting demands and meeting tight deadlines
- Quick to learn and build an understanding of new product ranges and customer profiles
