Business Intelligence Editor

We are very excited to be working a global digital publication that provides top-quality intelligence, market analysis and reports to the healthcare industry. They are now looking for an experienced editor to shape and develop their Intelligence service, taking the lead on product development and work on the creation of multi-format content.

They are based in London and would ideally wan this person in on a weekly basis, but are also open to considering a fully-remote role.

Reporting into the Editorial Director, the Business Intelligence Editor will be responsible for:

  • Leading the research, creation and presentation of high quality market analysis, data and reports, taking ownership of the final shape of Intelligence content
  • Writing and updating news stories and reports, including interviewing key industry figures and conducting accurate research on the healthcare sector
  • Contributing to the training and career development of more junior editorial colleagues
  • Deputise for Editorial Director when they are on leave
  • Attending key events and conferences, which may be held abroad

This is a really interesting role combining journalistic and storytelling skills with an attitude for data and figures. Many of the reports will be presented visually, and you will have the chance to create engaging infographics and other visual content.

We are looking for a strong communicator, who is confident working with reports and figures, and who will be enthusiastic about developing the Intelligence service further. You don't need to have experience writing about the healthcare sector specifically, though a background in business reporting and/or technical or scientific writing will be a bonus.

For a full description of the role, please send your CV with a brief paragraph outlining your relevant skills.

Closing Date: Early applications may be prioritised.
