Our client is an international scientific journal and book publisher with an impressive online learning programme which gives physicians and practitioners support in researching and treating various patient conditions. They are a not for profit and based in London where this role will be working in a hybrid capacity.
They are now seeking a Business Support Coordinator to join the team responsible for managing the financial and office administration for the publisher, providing support to the entire business across core responsibilities including:
- Manage financial accounting, including payments and receipts working closely with the external bookkeeper, producing financial reports and managing the royalty payments process
- Provide excellent customer service support across email and telephone
- Process orders and manage stock movements and valuations where required
- Provide general administrative support including booking meetings; taking minutes; travel arrangements; office administration; office supplies and maintenance management
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a business administration role, confident in handling financial tasks ideally with some bookkeeping experience. Superb customer service skills are essential, as well as confidence in working with numbers and in using the entire Microsoft Office package, including Excel. This is a business critical role, supporting all team members and the successful candidate will be expected to be organised, proactive and highly organised offering an unparalleled level of service to the entire team.
