Campaign Manager Children's Books

Leading & highly successful London children’s book publisher seeks a Campaign Manager to manage publicity for their leading non-fiction children’s books and key childrens book brands.

As Campaign Manager, you’ll be focusing on both the frontlist childrens books as well as the growing backlist tiles, your role is to achieve the best possible media coverage ahead of publication and after publication, working closely with social media and marketing teams to ensure all campaigns are cost-effective and effective.

This role could suit either a Publicity Executive looking for the next step or even an experienced Publicity Manager wishing to work in a less corporate publishing environment.

As Childrens Campaign Manager you’ll be responsible for;

  • Plan & manage childrens book campaigns for all imprints  
  • Manage an assistant
  • Pitch your authors for festivals and literary appearances
  • Manage book launches and media events
  • Create an author care plan
  •  Manage retail author events
  • Build excellent working relationships with the media/tv/radio/magazines/newspapers
  • Work closely with social media and marketing teams to integrate your campaigns

You’ll be based in London, the salary range is circa up to £30K depending on experience, with genuine potential for advancement opportunities for the right candidate who performs well.
