Campaigns and Engagement Officer

We are looking for an Engagement & Communications Officer on behalf of a wonderful not-for-profit membership organisation based in Central London. The role is for an initial 12 months period, and will preferably be based in the office 2 or 3 days a week. Our client is a scientific organisation which works to improve better healthcare for women, promote best practice and advocating for women's health on an international scale. Their product portfolio includes digital educational tools and CPD products, websites, online events, conferences and qualifications.

This role sits within the Digital division of the External Affairs team, and will be responsible for driving engagement and opportunities within existing audiences in the healthcare sector as well as prospect ones, and for coordinating marketing campaigns for non-member. They will work across all channels to increase engagement and maximise revenue, delivering high-quality, effective campaigns across international audiences.

Key accountabilities:

  • Coordinating multi-channel marketing campaigns to non-member audiences, working within allocated budgets and demonstrating positive ROI and creative approaches to increase marketing reach
  • Supporting the delivery of an annual international congress and liaising with other teams to explore new revenue opportunities
  • Collaborating with the External Affairs directorate to develop a single annual communications plan for the organisation across all channels
  • Liaising with the Membership team to deliver annual subscription campaigns, and creating engaging content plans to communicate membership benefits
  • Coordinating involvement and awards programmes for the organisation
  • Supporting a team of Digital Marketing Assistants to increase reach and impact of marketing content
  • Advising other departments on how to maintain a consistent message and visual identity across membership communications

The ideal candidate will have some experience of planning and delivering marketing and communications plans across multiple channels, while maintaining a consolidated brand identity. They will preferably come from a membership or society engagement experience, and understand how to communicate with different stakeholders within a not-for-profit environment.

Knowledge of social media automation platforms or design tools (Adobe, Canva) will be a bonus, as well as experience working with international audiences.
