Co-edition Sales Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Co-edition Sales Assistant to join a leading independent trade publisher in central London. Working closely with in-house team sales members, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to global customers and will help to drive sales.

This is an ideal position for candidates interested in rights or special sales and who are looking to get a first role in publishing.

Key duties:

  • Coordinate contract sales schedules, customer fulfilment and handle customer approvals
  • Raise sales orders, enquiries and offers to maintain the internal information system
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure sales details and requirements are met
  • Attend Bookfairs and support the sales team
  • Raise and issue sales orders and contracts

Experience / skills required:

  • Some experience in a role in publishing would be beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence dealing with a range of contacts
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Highly organised and able to manage a varied workload
