Commissioning Editor

Our client is a professional organisation who organise events, courses, seminars and conferences for psychotherapists, psychologists and other mental health workers. They are now looking to establish their specialised publishing list in the marketplace offering subject based reading for professionals.

They are therefore looking for a Commissioning Editor with experience of setting up and establishing a list of books to take care of everything from managing the budgets and schedules for each project through to the production of projects, so end-to-end experience is crucial for this role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of growing and building the structure of the team. The organisation encourages independent thinking and discussion, and the list is being built to reflect this.

If you have experience in commissioning titles, a knowledge of or passion for the psychological field and are interested in working in an exciting start-up environment within a renowned organisation do get in touch! This is a London based role, but flexible working, working from home and part time options can be discussed.
