Commissioning Editor

Do you enjoy talking to a diverse range of people and learning all about their career motivations and plans? Our client, a leading STM society publisher based in Central London, is looking to appoint a Commissioning Editor to plan, commission and edit content in the people and careers section of their flagship journal.

You will engage with the target audience of medical professionals and students at events and this will allow you to make the content engaging and relevant, focusing on new and exciting career development and education advice. In this role you will have a rare opportunity to meet a wide range of people in the profession, interview leaders and also secure its position as the leading resource on careers information.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with commissioning and editing experience from either a journalism or an STM publishing background. You will have experience in features writing and be able to target content to specific audiences. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is excited to bring fresh ideas to these publications.
