Are you an experienced Commissioning Editor looking to escape the rat-race of city life & breathe some fresh country air? Then look no further. An exciting opportunity is available for a Commissioning Editor to join a leading UK educational publisher based in the beautiful Lake District.

This hugely successful publisher is looking to recruit a Commissioning Editor to continue their good work and expand their range of educational titles. In this role you will be responsible for developing and delivering new publishing for markets from pre-school to post-16. Overseeing the creative process from conception to publication, you will cultivate and manage relationships with new authors and other external contributors. You will also work with Editors and colleagues in the Marketing, Design and Production teams to ensure every product is of high quality and in keeping with the company's unique style and brand.

The successful candidate will be:
·An experienced Commissioning Editor with a proven track record of finding & nurturing authors
·Highly articulate, commercially aware and numerate
·Creative and full of ideas, with the determination to see them through
·Flexible and open-minded
·Enthusiastic and outgoing
