Commissioning Editor – Children’s general books

Our client, a leading digital publisher of books for children, has asked us exclusively to find a Commissioning Editor to commission for their growing e-book programme. This is a newly created role due to growth.

Reporting to the Publisher, you’ll commission a broad range of stimulating general children’s illustrated non-fiction & fiction short stories and readers for primary school ages.

We’re looking for an editor who’s experienced in commissioning children’s book content that will entertain, educate and inform a broad readership.

This is a fully remote based role and will suit a self-starter who’s keen on the flexibility that home-based working can offer.

A competitive salary plus usual company benefits are on offer to the successful candidate.

If this unique opportunity sounds potentially of interest, in the first instance please drop a line to Danny Parnes – danny@thinkselection.com and please include your CV and current salary or expectations.

PS - our client has advised us that early applications will be prioritised so please get in touch as soon as possible, thanks.

Think Selection promotes the benefits of diversity in all of our activities and treats all employees and candidates equally regardless of their age, disability, gender identity, marital status, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation, caring responsibilities, socioeconomic background or union membership status.
