Commissioning Executive – professional qualifications organisation

A well-established professional qualifications organisation has asked us to help them to find a Commissioning Executive to join their organisation to build course teams by bringing on board subject-matter experts.

Reporting to the Head of Content, your role will be to review potential subject matter experts for different roles within the organisation, and help to bring them on board by negotiating with them over the terms of their contractual work, agreed timelines and fees.

You’ll prepare a commissioning brief for each qualification informed by syllabus content, and support the subject experts in their understanding of the agreed syllabus content to ensure that the requirements translate to the learning materials.

This role will require a minimum 2 years' full-time experience coordinating projects with external stakeholders ideally in educational, academic or professional publishing.

The company has offices in Central London and the South of England, and a very flexible working arrangement is in place whereby you could work for part of the week or just occasionally from the offices.
