Commissioning Lead (Academic)

A leading innovative scholarly publisher is looking for a Commissioning Lead to work alongside their product team to bring in new licencing and proprietary business from the academic community. You will be managing a teaching cases product portfolio and be the company advocate for the case writing community. This is fantastic opportunity is a full-time remote permanent position which can be done from anywhere in the UK

What you'll be doing

• Work in partnership with product team to commission a commercial portfolio of licenced content and services (digital teaching cases)
• Research and promote the portfolio to researchers, facilities and associations
• Bring new partnership business to grown your portfolio and meet targets

What you'll have

• Solid Editorial Academic publishing experience commissioning content, working to strategic priorities and portfolio targets.
• Knowledge of and have strong contacts in HE academia with ability to build relationships with researchers, faculties and associations to promote the case method
• A commercial and strategic mind to grow a strong portfolio
