Communications Coordinator

This a fantastic opportunity to join a membership organisation based in Oxford. You will be responsible for devising and delivering an effective communications strategy, engaging with stakeholders and managing all social media activity, as well as overseeing the production of their print publications.

Key duties:

  • Writing and delivering a communications strategy that will engage all stakeholders
  • Driving audience engagement by creating engaging content and monitoring online trends
  • Analysing and reporting on the effectiveness of communications channels by setting and monitoring against targets
  • Exploring and recommending new communication channels
  • Being responsible for branding and visual identity
  • Leading and managing the communications team
  • Managing all social media activity
  • Managing the media service including the print publication and radio station

Experience / skills required:

  • Demonstrable experience in a previous marketing or communications role
  • A knowledge and understanding of communications in print and online media
  • A knowledge of print processes and pre-press document preparations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong IT skills
  • Prior experience in academic/higher education would be desirable
  • Strong people and project management skills, and a can do attitude
