Communications & Events Manager 12 month FTC

 

Proactive, organised and creative Events & Communications Manager needed for a key service provider for the publishing industry. This role is based in Central London and they are looking to hire a Communications and Events Manager to cover 12 months Parental Cover.

 

Reporting into the CEO, you will be central to the success of marketing the service, promoting it and successfully organising lots of different types of events over the year. You will need to be very organised to be successful in this role and have a track record in organising and executing successful events. We are looking for someone who is assertive and can pre-empt any potential issues or problems with live events and be able to face these in a calm and sensible way to fix them. Problem solving is therefore essential as well as the following key skills:

    • Events experience - including conferences, webinars and private events
    • Negotiating
    • SOcial media
    • Email marketing - ideally experience with dot mailer or mail chimp would be useful
    • Experience using survey monkey
    • Relationship management
    • Managing creative, designers and web hosting company
