We have a fantastic opportunity for a Communications Manager to join a leading professional services membership body in the financial services sector based in London on a 13-14 month maternity cover contract. This role will be remote in the first instance with a plan to return to the office with flexible working later this summer.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will take responsibility for developing and implementing key elements of the overall communications strategy for the organisation. Working with both internal and external stakeholders, we are looking for a communications all rounder, who will create clear and engaging content tailored to a wide audience across a range of different channels. contribute to the planning and execution of integrated communications campaigns. Key responsibilities include: Project Communications; Content Development; Media Relations; Speeches; Presentations and Social Media.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in working in a similar communications role, and any experience in financial, legal or business sectors working on technical content would be a significant advantage. Experience in dealing with national and international media is essential, alongside excellent communication skills, with a particularly good knowledge of PowerPoint. You will have a creative approach and a proactive attitude with the ability to make decisions autonomously.
This role will suit someone with strong organisational and communication skills; you will be a diplomatic team-player and an excellent relationship builder.
