An exciting vacancy has come up at the London office of a leading professional membership organisation. This company are currently recruiting for a Consumer Engagement Executive, responsible for the secretariat duties around an external volunteer based consumer network, including communications and events activities to drive an increase in network engagement.
Key responsibilities will include:
- organisation, management and delivery of annual consumer, CPD and strategy events; steering groups; and coordinator meetings
- recruitment, retention and engagement activities for consumer members, including communications and marketing activities including social media and newsletters
- deliver external communications for the consumer groups including the website, publications, video and media messaging
The successful candidate will have fantastic communication skills and be able to bring a broad skillset, from hands on planning and administration through to internal and external communications activities including newsletters, social media and website content. The ideal candidate will be interested in consumer issues and consumer rights, and have a strong ability to relate to consumer representatives. The successful candidate might have a background in the third sector, membership services or in a communications role within public sector, charity or government. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with initiative, creative ideas and a passion for issues that impact consumers daily.
