Content Development Editor

Our client is a leading professional membership body based in the City of London, they create, develop and deliver learning materials to the financial services sector. We are looking for a Content Development Editor to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract to take a leading role in the development and pedagogic editing of print and digital learning materials.

The Content Development Editor will have a strong grasp on technology based professional learning, with the ability to create engaging learning materials for a wide range of channels and outputs, including through HTML5. With an exceptional grasp on structural and pedagogic editing, the Content Development Editor will ensure any multimedia assets are effectively integrated into the products so that learning materials are clear, engaging and effective.

The successful candidate with have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal colleagues and external stakeholders. With a focus on developing products which are aimed at professionals continuing their own CPD, this role is critical in understanding the needs of the customer, with a responsibility for ensuring a high quality in standard of work. The successful candidate will be creative, and not afraid to identify new processes or ways of working.
