Content Development Manager
A global leader in educational publishing is looking to appoint an experienced content development professional to manage their online and blended courses and HE learning materials. Based in the South East, a commutable distance from London and Cambridge, this is a great opportunity to develop cutting-edge learning products. As Content Development Manager, you will commission writers and subject-matter experts to write and update content, and oversee digital elements to ensure they meet editorial needs. You will project-manage and schedule products, be responsible for managing and commissioning typesetting, copy-editing and proofreading of content across multiple platforms, as well as defining best practice for QA testing and leading on rights and permissions.
Key skills include:
- Proficiency in MS project
- Solid experience in an editorial/content development role
- In-depth knowledge of the publishing process
- Excellent copy-editing and proofreading skills
- Good analytical and influencing skills
