Content Development Manager

Our client, a leading professional association based in London is now looking for a Content Development Manager to join their publishing department.  This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced editor to manage the design, development and production of professional course materials. This is a 12-month contract with a possibility to extend.

 

Key duties:

  • Create, plan and design course materials for both classroom and online delivery
  • Produce high quality products in line with sound pedagogical principles for professional development
  • Commission and brief external suppliers and experts, review and ensure content quality
  • Schedule content reviews, and communicate regularly with course leaders to ensure the continued development and improvement of the programmes

Experience / skills required:

  • Experience in an editorial/production editorial role within higher education, academic or professional publishing ideally in both print an digital formats
  • Excellent knowledge of the publishing process, proven track record of delivering complex products on time and to budget
  • Experience working with internal and external teams and suppliers smoothly and effectively
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask multiple projects
