Content Editor

A leading magazine publisher based in Essex is looking for a Content Editor to join their team. This fantastic opportunity is working on one of their award-winning business magazines, and can be an office based, hybrid or fully remote working role, where you'll be amongst a supportive, inclusive and friendly team, and the company offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Working closely with the Head of Content and the Content Marketing Manager, the Content Editor will oversee the entire print magazine production process, from feature idea generation to selecting strong imagery during the design phase - they will be responsible for researching, commissioning and writing features, conducting interviews with industry experts and guest contributors and overseeing photo-shoots for content across the print magazine, online content and across social media.

The Content Editor will ideally have excellent experience of editing a print magazine, a good awareness of content creation for SEO purposes, and have worked in a fast paced editorial environment. The successful Content Editor will be confident and organised, and will carry excellent communication skills, as the role will involve liaison with various contributors, as well as other departments. Occasional attendance at events and conferences will be required.
