Content Manager

Our client, a leading professional publisher is now looking for a Content Manager to join their expanding Product Development team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital content professional to play a significant role in shaping the digital publishing strategy.  

 

Key duties:

  • Provide strategic insight and digital content expertise to support the development of new products and content licensing

  • Source content from external sources including third party licensing and commissioning expert authors

  • Identify and explore new opportunities to generate commercially successful content and achieve business growth goals

  • Manage virtual teams and stakeholders focused on delivering the content projects

Experience / skills required:

  • Extensive experience in an editorial or commissioning role focusing on digital content development or acquisition within the professional or STM publishing sector

  • Proven experience of managing and delivering successful complex projects

  • Ability to engage successfully with stakeholders and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Line management experience would be advantageous
