Content Project Manager (6 month contract)

Due to exciting new projects, our client – a global educational publisher – is recruiting for three Content Project Managers to join their ELT Production Team, initially on a 6 month contract basis. These roles are based in their North Hampshire office.

Key duties:

• Project-manage the production of ELT books from manuscript through to delivery of final files
• Manage all aspects of content production for the multi-component titles
• Manage freelancers and outsourced vendors including typesetters and indexers
• Check all stages of manuscript, photo briefs, and proofs, serving as primary Production contact
• Work with the Head of Production, and project stake holders, agree on and monitor all project budgets
• Support in all other production activity as required

Experience / skills required:

• Excellent project management and organizational skills are essential for this role
• You must have prior experience working in a book production role
• You will ideally have experience in educational publishing
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required
• Knowledge of project management and scheduling software is desirable
