Content Writer

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced journalist or financial reporter to join a leading professional membership body within the financial services sector as Content Writer.

Reporting to the Head of Communications, the Content Writer will play a key role in developing and implementing the organisation's communications strategy by creating and delivering high-quality, clear and engaging content tailored to a wide range of stakeholders.

The successful candidate will likely have a background in journalism or reporting, with strong experience in distilling complex information. The Content Writer will work closely with technical accountants and therefore a high level or gravitas and confidence in communication is essential.

This is a great opportunity for someone who absolutely loves writing and wants to use their writing skills to help the organisation communicate more effectively. You will take ownership of the creation of various communications materials tailored to different channels, look for interesting angles and stories to write and work with senior people to help shape messages, draft speeches, articles etc. The role will require you to think strategically and foster good working relationships with colleagues at all levels across the organisation.
