Content Writer

Our client is a niche, highly sustainable brand with a passion for sustainable business practices and combating climate change with offices in Central London. They are now looking to hire their first content and marketing expert into the business with responsibility for creating engaging content, and marketing their premium products across the full marketing mix.

As Content Writer, you will be responsible for coming up with ideas and topics for content, and delivering marketing activities for the brand many of which will be focused around sustainable business practices and the ethics around protecting our planet. Other responsibilities will include:

• Create regular content for blogs, magazines, newsletters, email, social media and editorials
• Deliver engaging, relevant marketing campaigns that promote the brand and increase engagement
• Ensure content meets with SEO standards
• PR management, including advertising, media planning, press releases and editorials
• Building relationships with Editors, Journalists and Influencers in order to promote the brand
• Oversee brochure production, including brief, budget, photoshoots and imagery

The successful candidate will have proven experience in creative content writing and marketing across the full marketing mix, ideally working with a premium brand, product or service. Demonstrable experience of writing for a b2b audience is important, as well as a clear understanding of all marketing channels and opportunities. In addition, we are looking for exceptional communication skills, excellent time management and organisational skills and outstanding research skills. The ability to explain complex subjects in a straightforward manner will be important as well as the ability to create engaging, memorable and brand building content. Finally - an interest in passion in sustainability and protecting the planet will be key for the successful candidate.
