Contracts Executive

An engaging role of a Contracts Executive has come through with a well-established trade publisher. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are looking for that next step in their career. You will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts across various departments in editorial, sales and acquisitions. The role is full-time, permanent and offers hybrid working pattern (2 days a week in the London office).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and addenda for authors, licenses and agreements with publishers and third-party distributors
• Reviewing reversion letters and termination letters

• Assisting the Contracts team.
• Creating terms for events such as competitions

You will need to have worked in a Contracts role within publishing with a strong grasp drafting of contracts as well as copyright and royalty processes. You will be a strong, professional communicator in verbal and written form, proficient in Microsoft Office and managing database systems. (A knowledge of Biblio would beneficial.) Strong time management and multi-tasking skills will also be beneficial for this role.
