Inspired Search, the Executive Search division of Inspired, is proud to be exclusively retained by a highly prestigious, international professional body to Search for their new Corporate Secretary. This is a part-time position (2 days per week) and can be done largely remotely; some attendance to the London office will be required.
We are looking for a qualified chartered secretary to take ownership of the corporate governance of a world-leading legal membership body. The organisation is highly engaged in the global legal community and this role presents a wonderful opportunity for a driven and passionate chartered secretary to improve and better the policies and structures of the organisation such that they can do even more to support the global justice systems.
In this role you will:
- provide valuable advice, recommendations and guidance to the Management Board across corporate governance matters, ensuring that they are informed and engaged appropriately,
- take ownership over the continuous development of corporate procedures and policies,
- ensure that the Board, and therefore the organisation, is upholding transparent and ethical decision making, having the corporate structures to do so,
- facilitate effective Board meetings which includes inputting into the preparation of Board meeting materials and completing the minutes
With a demonstrable track record of success in a similar role, a proactive approach and first-class knowledge of corporate governance you will play an instrumental role in the future success of the organisation, which in turn makes a global impact on justice.
