Courseware Developer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a top Educational Publisher in London. Our client is looking for a Courseware Developer with strong project management skills to work closely with key stakeholders to execute on the development process and improve the user experience of their leading collaborative teaching and learning products for the Higher Education market.

Working in amongst a supportive and dedicated team, your core focus will be to uncover and analyse current and future market problems, trends, and behaviours through analysing research, and ensure the products align with those needs. You will be responsible for understanding the learning capabilities of the platforms and products and will be required to keep abreast of learning and teaching trends.  You will be responsible for managing projects from initial brief to final execution; always ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.  You will work effectively across the organisation when collaborating and communicating with internal, and external, stakeholders and will build partnerships to collectively deliver on the business vision as well as problem-solve challenges that emerge along the way. You will manage uncertainty and have the ability to adjust to rapidly changing situations (platform evolution, internal processes).

With a passion for technology-enabled learning the successful candidate will have good experience in publishing, education, technology or other relevant industry with a focus on content development and/or instructional design.  You will have a data-driven mindset underpinned by strong research and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple, competing projects across a variety of market sectors.  You will ideally have a high degree of digital literacy (i.e. MS Applications, digital/cloud platforms for content management and authoring, business tools such as CRM software). An understanding of instructional design would be an asset but not essential.

In return, our client offers a generous salary and an excellent benefits package.
