Our client, a leading international education company based in London is seeking a creative Curriculum Developer to help shape their materials in line with international curriculum requirements.
The Curriculum Developer will be responsible for working closely with Ministries of Education in emerging markets to analyse and understand the local curriculum requirements and develop the company's education materials in line with international frameworks, mapping the resources to the individual market's curriculum. It will require writing proposals around curriculum and resources, liaising with teachers, as well as the professional development and editorial teams to help develop outstanding educational products to suit emerging markets. Working alongside a team in the UK, as well as travelling occasionally to the Middle East and Africa, you will offer consultative support on the services offered to help Ministries of Education make informed decisions around education, with a view to developing innovative and market appropriate resources tailored to the different market's needs.
The ideal candidate will be from a teaching / curriculum development background and be familiar with K-12 / international education, and be passionate about teaching and learning. You will have demonstrable experience in an editorial role, having worked preferably with both print and digital material. You will also be able to build and manage senior level relationships and have excellent communication skills.
