Translation Rights Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Translation Rights department for a Rights Executive to join the team. You will be working with our two Children’s & YA Translation Agents, covering our fantastic Children's and YA authors and with another Translation Rights Agent on an assigned list of brilliant adult titles.

The Role of a Translation Rights Executive centres around providing administrative support to specific agents, assisting on the client list of exciting authors, which includes negotiating the sale of translation rights for authors in assigned territories throughout the world. You'll quickly gain a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the client list and the markets you're working in.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, great attention to detail and a love for reading, particularly Children’s & YA titles. This role is the ideal opportunity for someone excited by the challenge of working for a busy office and the skill set to adapt, learn and assist efficiently. Some experience in a related role, either in the publishing industry or an adjacent cultural sector, is desirable. Preferably in a Literary Agency and/or Foreign Rights Department.
