Customer Engagement Executive - academic journals and books

A new role has come up with a London based science publishing company, who are seeking a Customer Engagement Executive to join their friendly and busy Sales & Marketing team to liaise with clients and agents in the UK and overseas markets.

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you’ll be responsible for engaging with sales agents, corporate clients and libraries to ensure a top quality customer service experience and enhance & retain loyalty for the company’s journals and book products. You’ll also liaise with authors, editors, colleagues within the company and other external stakeholders.

As Customer Engagement Executive, your main role will be to keep up to date records about customers, including retention data and client experience information, hence we’re looking for someone with exceptional organisational skills who ideally has worked with a CRM system within journals publishing. You’ll also process orders, handle customer enquiries and assist with the raising of invoices.

There will also be the opportunity to support your marketing colleagues with client-facing marketing initiatives.

A competitive salary is offered and you’ll be based from the company’s offices in London when fully re-open.
