Customer Services Assistant

We have a fantastic role for a Customer Services Assistant to join our client, a leading book distribution company working with publishers across the world. This is an office-based role in the clients' offices in Central Lancaster and reports to the Sales and Operations Manager, and is an important role within the company as you will directly contribute to the annual revenue.

In this role you will:

• Deal with customer enquiries, via email and over the phone so strong communication skills both written and verbal are important
• Process all orders and payments for their products
  Update their contact database
• Research new prospects and new sales channels / events

This is a great opportunity to develop your customer service skills as well as learn about reporting on sales, developing excel skills. The team is very friendly and hard working so we're definitely looking for someone who has a "can do attitude" and be able to demonstrate that you are a real team player!

We are looking for previous customer service experience, basic Excel skills, an excellent telephone manner and good e-mail writing skills.
