Our client is a leading independent publisher of professional books, journals and digital products - we are working on a brand new role of Data Analyst to join the team for their growing suite of digital products, aimed at the professional and academic markets.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for providing reliable data to improve productivity and overall sales of their digital products. Key responsibilities will include:
- Collect sales data and evaluate performance against KPIs
- Provide evidence-based and data driven benchmarking information
- Create reports using Salesforce and distribute these for use in meetings
- Provide regular sales reporting for specific platforms for use by product and content teams
- Report and track growth of customer base
- Work with the wider product team to improve usage reporting and analysis and prepare monthly usage reports for key clients
- Work with the IT team to further improve processes around reporting and analysis
- Operations support with sales and marketing teams
The successful candidate will be highly numerate with strong experience in data manipulation, data analysis and reporting, highly proficient in Excel. A flexible approach is essential, alongside the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders working under pressure to tight deadlines. The successful individual will have a superb attention to detail, and a desire to improve processes and systems to support the wider business.
