A rare opportunity has arisen for a customer-focused, senior professional with strong Product Management experience to join a world leader in the international education space as Deputy Director of Innovation and Curriculum Support. Our client is a not-for-profit publishing organisation that produce high quality educational programmes and support material for school students and teachers around the globe.
The main remit of the Deputy Director of Innovation and Curriculum Support will be to lead a close-knit team and interpret emerging trends in curriculum support, including both face to face and digital assessment products and services in the international education market, and translate these into products and services that add real value for schools. Responsibilities include to:
·Keep abreast of trends in uptake of digital products and services in international schools
·Take responsibility for products and services developed
·Engage with customers, markets and regional teams to gain first-hand insights
·Gather requirements for products and services and manage third-party suppliers
·Lead on the development of business cases for new digital products and services
·Monitor the commercial performance of digital products and services.
The Deputy Director for Innovation and Curriculum Support will be someone with a background in product development ideally in educational publishing and have experience of, or be accredited in, PRINCE2, MSP, and/or other project/programme management methods and approaches.You will be a strong team leader with a strategic vision, good commercial acumen and excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
