Deputy Publishing Manager

Our client, a global science publisher, is looking for a Deputy Publishing Services Manager to come on board to work on their Open Access portfolio. This is a varied role with broad scope and is an excellent opportunity for development. In this 12 month contract, you will oversee line management and training of a team of Editorial Assistants  and assist the Publishing Services Manager, ensuring processes are implemented across the team.

You will be involved in the following:

• Supporting Journal development

• Setting up journals

• Line management

• Reporting and data

•  

   

   

  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a scientific background and a strong interest in Open Access.  You will be customer-focused with a proactive nature and creative problem solving skills. You will enjoy communication between teams, with a natural flair for improving systems, all contributing to the growing success of their Open Access portfolio.
