Deputy Sales & Marketing Manager, Maternity Cover

Do you have experience in advertising sales, sponsorship and events and looking to join a dynamic, international publishing company? Our client publishes a highly respected B2B journal within the renewable power sector, they are looking to hire a Deputy Sales and Marketing Manager to join their team based in Surrey on a 12 month maternity cover contract.

The Deputy Sales and Marketing Manager will have core responsibilities including:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients in order to sell display and classified advertisements; sell digital advertising; and sell stands and sponsorship for the organisation
• Input into new business development and marketing activities
• Visiting clients and research new prospects

The successful candidate will have previous sales experience ideally within the publishing sector but other sectors will be considered. We are looking for a highly organised, personable and ambitious sales candidate, keen to join a small but highly successful publishing company where they offer a generous commission package in addition to an excellent basic salary.

This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will be expected to work in the office 3 days a week with 2 days working from home.
