Development Editor

Our client, a top educational publisher, is looking for a Development Editor to work on their Higher Education materials. This is a maternity cover contract lasting 9-12 months.

Reporting to the List Manager, the Development Editor will work on a fantastic range of products across Business disciplines including Economics, Management, Accounting and Finance. This will involve liaising with authors, preparing print and digital products to go in to production and helping develop future products.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, resourceful and efficient team player with strong editorial and project management skills, including working with authors and contributors and experience in an editorial role.  You will be highly organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. You will have excellent communication skills and be a strong team player.
