Development Editor

Our client, a leading academic publisher in Central London, are seeking a Development Editor to create their high-revenue textbooks and their accompanying digital resources. Reporting into the Senior Development Editor, you will use market research and your commercial awareness to build a product development plan. You will be the product owner and will work creatively and collaboratively with a broad range of people including authors and colleagues, with a focus on making the textbooks engaging for students and lecturers.

 

The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience from educational or academic publishing and strong project management skills. You will have good commercial awareness, experience of carrying out market research and enjoy working collaboratively, using your clear communication style to keep all stakeholders up to date.
