Development Editor
Our client is a leading professional publisher developing knowledge and content for the HR, health and safety, accountancy and tax compliance sectors, they are seeking a Development Editor to join their team responsible for developing content across their portfolio in line with their customer needs.
The Development Editor will be responsible for developing a portfolio of products, working closely within their sector to identify market gaps and working with Editors to create the content itself. We are looking for a candidate to take real ownership of their sector, actively looking into market developments and sourcing authors to commission new content for products, as well as re-purposing existing content assets.
The successful candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, great communication skills and excellent people interaction and stakeholder management skills. With experience of working within a b2b publishing environment, the Development Editor will identify and turn hot topics into content development opportunities to support their growing client base. This is an exciting time to join a growing business in an exciting, product development driven role.
