Development Editor

A leading academic publisher, based in Central London, is looking to appoint a Development Editor to create the high-revenue textbooks and their accompanying digital resources which the company provides. Reporting into the Senior Development Editor and working closely with the Commissioning Editor and other internal colleagues, you will use market research techniques and use your commercial awareness to create plans which ensure that textbook and digital ancillaries meet market needs.

The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience of academic or educational publishing and strong project management skills. You will have good commercial awareness, experience of carrying out market research and enjoy working collaboratively, using your clear communication style to keep all stakeholders up to date.
