Digital Content Assistant (FTC)

Do you have a passion for all things digital and the desire to get into Academic publishing? A leading academic publisher in central London is looking to appoint a Digital Content Assistant to support their books department. You will assist the team in developing their strategy for their digital UK textbooks and online programme. This a fixed contract role of around 5 months and will start remotely.

Key duties:

  • Managing the gathering and supporting the creation, launch and delivery of digital content to schedule
  • Briefing websites, adapting copy and formatting website materials within deadlines
  • General support to Digital content team, including associated administrative tasks
  • Accessing and interpreting analytics to support the strategic planning of website context
  • Supporting market research and user testing activities and keeping abreast of digital trends
  • Liaise amongst different departments to coordinate on the process
  • Replying to customer queries in a timely and professional manner

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Proven interest in Academic publishing
  • Experience within publishing would be an advantage
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn packages and programmes
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a varied workload with strong attention to detail
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of HTML highly desirable
