Digital Content Development Editor

We are working on a very exciting editorial role responsible for the creation and development of interactive digital courses for a wonderful edtech publisher in London. Our client is a digital division of a very prestigious academic press, and they produce amazing online courses for the university market. The role can be largely remote based with one day a month in the office.

In this role, you will be working closely with the authors to support them through the development and delivery of content, liaising with reviewers to ensure content accuracy and accessibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing authors to coordinate delivery of materials, training them on learning design and author briefs, providing feedback and guidance
  • Working on the development of content maps to assess the pedagogical framework of new courses
  • Undertaking QA checks on all content and ensuring everything is produced to required standards, budgets and timeframes
  • Coordinating all media assets such as illustrations, videos, and animations
  • Assisting with development group workshops

This is an amazing role for someone keen to develop into a digital-first editorial role; you could come from an editorial coordinator role and have some experience with online content, or maybe you have worked in an academic or teaching environment and have first-hand experience utilising online courses and learning technology.

For a full description of the role, please send your CV with a brief paragraph outlining your relevant skills.

Closing Date: Early applications may be prioritised.
