Digital Content Development Manager

A highly successful and fast growing, international professional education organisation is seeking a Digital Content Development Manager to manage the team responsible for producing and writing the digital content for the company's subscription and membership platform. This role offers a competitive salary and hybrid working, requiring ideally 1-2 days per week in the company's central London office.

As Digital Content Development Manager you will manage the output of the Digital Content team, sharing skills and providing support across the team responsible for a fast-paced, high-volume delivery schedule. Key tasks will include (amongst others):

  • Plan and oversee the Digital Content team's schedule of work
  • Provide guidance on tone, content, schedules, and target audiences
  • Drive the commissioning, creation and management of the production of high-quality, innovative written digital content
  • Manage the digital content budget
  • Meet targets set for KPIs including website sessions, blog numbers, article production numbers, and readership
  • Maintain style guide and editorial standards
  • Train and advise Digital Content Editors

The ideal Digital Content Development Manager will have solid experience commissioning, writing, editing, and creating content for an online professional audience or news publication alongside excellent editorial skills. You will have strong team management as well as project management skills to maintain high-volume delivery of digital content. You will ideally be familiar using content management systems for delivering training, and have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
