Digital Media Editor

An exciting opportunity has come up for a social media savvy, Digital Media Editor in an innovative medical news publisher.

The role requires interviewing skills and confidence as the successful candidate will be attending conferences to source content for the website and e-newsletters as well as interviewing key physicians to create high-quality breaking news videos. The content-related responsibilities will include short headlines, articles and blurbs to accompany any videos, and will work closely with the Videographer and Video Editor to produce and edit medical videos and roundtables.

You don't need any prior medical knowledge for this role, and it would suit someone from a journalism background with experience of interviewing, posting across social media sites and on CMS. Software skills which would be required for this role include SEO and Google Analytics, and experience of the full Adobe Suite would be helpful.
