Digital Product Assistant

 

An exciting opportunity  to join a London based  academic publisher as a Product Assistant, You will be support the supporting  users of their digital products ensuring that they get the content that they need as smoothly and effectively as possible.

Key duties:

  • Assist with the review current digital products for recommendations to feed into product roadmaps
  • Improve navigability, discoverability and accessibility for our users
  • Provide insight into who is using our products by creating and distributing usage reports using Google Analytics
  • Organising and run user testing sessions, and use this knowledge to help define and test product enhancements
  • Support research and development projects that use technology to drive innovation and meet business, user or product needs
  • Maximise web traffic through link building and keyword analysis, or conducting competitor research
  • Coordinate back-end processes, for example maintaining spreadsheets of new titles to be added to a product and liaising with other departments to keep data up-to-date
  • Provide general administrative report for the local team, including support large cross-functional meetings, including coordinating rooms, timing, agendas and minutes
  • Support delivery of new product releases and product enhancement projects

Experience / skills required:

  • Proven skills in organization, time management, and efficient execution of tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including creating graphics in Excel
  • Results-oriented and analytical approach, balanced by good detail orientation, required
  • Experience working with the library and academic market beneficial/ and or interest in academic publishing 
  • Knowledge of web applications, technology publishing industry beneficial
