Digital Proofreader

Do you have scientific proofreading experience? A not-for-profit scientific publisher based in Cambridge is looking for a Digital Proofreader to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a portfolio of five life-science journals. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Key duties:

• Provide support to editorial teams and ensure journal content meets standards
• Liaise with internal journal teams and external production suppliers
• Provide quality-control and on-screen article checks at various stages of the workflow

Experience / skills required:

• A degree or equivalent with proven proofreading and digital experience
• Experience managing and prioritising a heavy workload and working to deadline
• Excellent literacy skills with a high attention to detail
• Team player with good IT skills
