Director of Education

A new permanent opportunity has arisen to join a leading EdTech company as Director of Education, leading on the development of innovative, engaging digital education resources, focused on the Arts, for the UK and international Schools and Higher Education markets. Based in our client's central London office, this role offers an excellent salary and benefits package.

The Director of Education will be responsible for delivering a customer-focused and market-led approach to content commissioning and licensing. They will lead a multi-disciplinary Content and Publishing team including content creators, pedagogical experts and content managers, to deliver curriculum aligned materials that drive teaching and learning outcomes. With their education sector knowledge and content development expertise, the Director of Education will feed back their valuable market insight into cross-functional planning in all areas of the business, working to support and inform marketing, product/technology, sales and commercial teams.

The ideal Director of Education will have experience in an academic or educational publisher, or experience across the Arts. Previous roles could include digital content management and/or production, digital publishing, and/or product, programme or platform management. With confidence managing and motivating a team, you will be someone who takes a data-driven, customer-centric approach to content and product road-map planning and delivery. The Director of Education will have outstanding communication, and exceptional influencing skills.
