Director of UK & International Sales & Marketing

We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in international sales to join a fantastic, and significantly growing, independent publisher as their Director of UK and International Sales & Marketing.

Based in the UK, you will be responsible for marketing and selling a substantial and highly respected list to global markets outside North America. You will work closely with editorial groups based in the US and the UK, and direct a growing team of sales and marketing professionals based in London. 

Working across academic titles in the Humanities and Social Sciences, professional and trade books, you will be adaptable and imaginative, bringing creative energy to marketing campaigns for diverse customer groups. You'll have strong sales and sales leadership experience and have a solid grounding in working with agents around the world. This role demands a level of strategic insight and analysis as you will be expected to be evaluating the global sales process for improvements, and driving marketing plans with insight.
